Flexure springs are used in MechBlock assemblies to produce devices with constrained mobility. Flexure leaf springs have high stiffness in certain orientations and low stiffness in others, enabling precision, repeatable motion. If you need a vacuum compatible kit, we can produce stainless steel flexure springs also.

We can produce custom flexures for your application. Using spring steel or even stainless steel, flexure thicknesses from 0.001" to 0.04" and lengths up to 12 inches can be produced. The provides a huge array of potential spring stiffness and size for creating custom flexure mechanisms. For sizes and geometries similar to our standard springs, custom springs are very affordable.
